Winter Fence

Yet another 10cm of snow fell last night. Although everything looks like winter wonderland I think everyone has had enough of it. Even the kids are getting bored with sledging now. The snow plough is becoming a daily visitor to the village. I took this picture on the road past the golf course in West Linton. The depth of snow on the fence and the icicles hanging off it summed up the day - lots of snow and cold. Can't remember when the thermometer last showed a plus sign! If only I had some cross country skis .....
