"Fun" Run

Grace was not looking forward to the inaugural primary school fancy dress fun run today, but actually she coped very well. Ophelia, on the other hand, literally jumped at the chance to stay at school all day and take part in the run. The Year 6 class organised the run to help fund markings and games on the playgrounds. These are much needed, since the school was a secondary and then a middle school before it became the primary in November. The yards are almost bare. Hopefully lots of money was raised today!
After school the girls and I spent a very lovely evening with friends and were treated to a delicious tea. The children played well together and everyone had fun. Tired girls tonight though!
