Strange weather today

Went to visit my sick father at hospital today. The progress after his stroke is rather slow, but still there is some progress every day.

Today I asked him if I could take a photograph of him to send to my brother not living so close and not able to visit. I told him that it could be nice to have a picture so he could see that he looks OK.

As I was going to take the pic, he turned his head to the side, stared with his eyes and opened his mouth.

That was the first time since his stroke that we laughed together and it felt really good. We didn't take that pic, I'm not sure that my brother would have noticed the fun.

He will have a nice smiling dad on the mail.

When I drove home bad weather was rising and the light was so lovely that I had to stop for a pic.
