The Leith Policeman

The latest in what seems to be a growing series of photos involving the police.

I'd just nipped next door to the Chinese supermarket to buy lemon grass, and left the door off the snib, as you do (but probably shouldn't). A couple of minutes later, Mr dwall found an opportunist burglar rummaging around in his study. A chase ensued. The police were called.

PC Louis took down my details (I’d decided I ought to have a central role in this police procedural), but he refused point blank to fingerprint me, despite my best wheedling. Nothing was nicked (including the burglar).

(I know Louis is very lovely and all, but please keep any comments decent – just in case Police Scotland is watching.)
