The rains came down....

Well it sure started out to be a fantastic day, weather wise but then around 3:30 the heavens opened like there was no tomorrow plus what felt like gale force winds.

Needless to say, I was equipped with my trusted pink handbag umbrella, it never fails ;-/

Started today by baking two cakes which I'll finish tomorrow, followed by a birthday lunch for Pastor James and his family with friends Ev, Elizabeth and Rosanna. Then some errands and finally home thru the pouring rain. This pic is of our bus terminus at the Plaza, very wet.

Another dear friend brought over some yummy food she made for dinner, which I really appreciated. Saved me from cooking!!! I love it when people drop by randomly. And I love that after all our years of moving around, we're finally somewhere where we've known people long enough that they feel comfortable enough to just drop in! Warms my heart.
