Annie Maudling

This morning and afternoon I was at a meeting for the Digital High Street.
I find them really interesting and always learn something useful.
It's also a great way to meet people.
Here's Annie who has a Tissington based business making great smelling and looking candles called On a Wick & a Prayer http://www.onawick.co.uk/
Whilst I was outside having a cigarette I happened to see this plate in a vintage shop next door which seemed really apt for her.
It's a plate made by Price's Candles who a google search revealed to be a candle manufacturer founded in 1830 and still going strong.
It has the rather nice message on it saying 'Which will not drop grease when carried!'.
