A l-o-n-g walk

Today, walking into the village, I caught up with this dog, Madge, and her humans who are walking from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for the 'Help For Heroes' and 'Search and Rescue Dogs' charities.

Madge is a very clever dog. She writes a blog every day, even though her paws may be tired after trekking an average of 15 miles a day. She's hoping to reach John O'Groats by the middle of June.

I think she was desperate to put her paws up and have a drink of water when I blipped her and her mistress, but by tomorrow morning she'll be raring to go!
