Roses in the sunshine

Red is the colour at the moment. There are lots of bushes in the street and the blooms are abundant. Last night a friend gave us a box of cherries from her organic farm and today another friend gave us more from her garden. We will soon look like cherries. They are wonderfully, large, sweet and succulent this year. Each year it is traditional that the local town of Ceret sends its first crop to the President. This year, like us, he has had a real treat!
