Benz Beauty. GX1, Leitz Elmar 135mm.
Today's Blip is a continuation of my Blip from April 28. When I drove past the Mercedes restorer's workshop down the hill this morning, there was a new kid on the block. I used the same "drive-by" Blipping technique as before. In fact, the getaway vehicle can be seen mirrored in the chrome bumper! Wiki tells me that the Type W120 "Ponton" was offered from 1953-1962 and with its more luxurious sister model, the W121 represented 80% of Mercedes' production in the dark years immediately after WW2. The 190 is Type 121. The contemporaneous Leitz lens I used today is from 1960.
