Pobblebonk frog

I accidentally raked this frog up with some leaves, so after a quick photo session, I returned it to the leaf litter under the bushes. These frogs make a very melodic 'bonk' noise and are also called banjo frogs for the same reason.

Go large to see the tiny red legged mite between its eyes – I couldn't see this while I was photographing it or I might have tried to get a better shot of it. In one of the other shots there was an even tinier little bug thing crawling over its eye!
