6th Street Bridge
This morning started drizzly, but I really wanted to get out and walk around the city. I was glad I did, because it turned quite rainy later in the day. Pittsburgh is situated at the confluence of three rivers--the Allegheney, Monongahela and Ohio Rivers. The Sixth Street Bridge is also known as the Roberto Clemente Bridge, and is seen in front of PNC Park where the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team plays. The bridge is actually pale yellow, but I like to think it was the little bit of morning sunshine that illuminated the bridge between rain showers. The water movement and slight reflections of the bridge were probably prettier in person, but I like the photo.
The main part of the day was spent taking short classes, 15 to 45 minutes each, on new products and trends in the industry. Lots of walking all over the convention center from one conference room to another. I certainly wouldn't have had to go out walking this morning!
