Berwick across the Tweed

No lingering over the coffee and croissants this morning!

Usual Saturday chores, including a walk on Spittal beach, then back home to continue with preparing the dining room for decorating.

We took the evening off to go over to Etal for Coope, Boyes and Sinpson - acappella singers - performing In Flanders Fields, a tribute to the lives caught up in WWI. Quite a 'heavy' evening - sad, poignant, funny, horrific - but the singing was terrific.
