Rannerdale

Day 1 in the LPH house, and the residents (inmates?) were escorted to the side of Crummock Water.

It's an unusual place as the bluebells come up in the open, and then later get shade from the bracken which comes up to cover them. You get an amazing blue/purple haze from the flowers. They were slightly past their best, but still an amazing sight.

The day ended well, being a one-for-one hit rate on afternoon tea room visits :-) The evening visit to the diary room for evening viewings showed that all residents had successful days.

The weather looks to be holding fair for the start of the week, so yet to decide on the activities for tomorrow.
