Nimmo

Focus, as a clever man once said, is over-rated.

Alexander Nimmo was a great engineer by all accounts, and I'm sure Nimmo's pier in Galway works fairly well. Unfortunately, for Spiddal, his pier there was a bit of a Friday afternoon special and the waves break over it too much for it to be in any way useful.
