Gobsmacked by a goober!

Little Scar was so thrilled with her peanut, she looked positively gobsmacked . She's healing nicely from some horrendous near miss. The other side of her neck has a long scar.


I watched some young chipmunks playing by the old garage. Two youngsters new to above ground life without a doubt. Adults lead solitary lives spending all day storing food and chasing off others, except when very young. Mama was busy, sniffing the air. As soon as each chipmunk snatched their prize, they darted for their nest, some were flying!

Thrilled!

The Mrs. is in the air over Iowa Nevada on her way to San Francisco on business. She'll be home Late Thursday night. I usually go along on her trips to San Francisco, but we decided we'll go together on the longer business trip she has there in September. We adore San Francisco and have recently married( after 26 years together:) friends there too.
