Lunch time nap!

Having been away for the weekend, it was a pleasure to wake up in my own bed this morning having slept for 9hrs without stirring.

Over to Dunmow to do the grocery shopping and then a visit to the pond to check out the Canada Geese family. They were lazing in the shade under the weeping willow tree. Dad was on guard but just kept a beady eye on me and I kept my distance at about 6 foot. They still have 5 babies.

The babies were difficult to see initially as their colour blends in with the environment!! They lie with their legs out behind them.

New term of furniture restoration starts tonight. It is going to be hot work!!!!
