The Marathon Tankard

PHOTOADAY - The cutlery delivered today to our table at the Little Stove was contained in a pewter mug engraved The Marathon Tankard. It was labelled as being manufactured in the UK but with no visible date.
This tankard had seen a rough life, by its well used condition, and my thoughts turned to if it could talk what tales could it tell.
