Midpoint - a point somewhere in the middle!!!!

I am taking this definition for the blip of the day! I wanted to photograph the Eremurus (fox-tail lily) as it had around half its flowers out on the stem - midpoint!! This is the first time it has flowered, which is very pleasing.

However, it involved a crash course in spot metering to enable me to capture the shot I wanted! So in a way a double challenge for the day!
