me,me take me....

A wet day. Hubs and I hosted a 'brunch' for a few neighbours, which grew into a feast of homemade smoothies, with mountains of fritata, beans, mushrooms, chips, toast, tomatoes and hot chocolate brownies, swished down with pots of tea and coffee. I took to the sofa and watched the film Sea Biscuit in the afternoon, just what I needed to digest that lot. Good film for a Sunday afternoon, it made me want to hop on Daisy and go for a mad gallop...
These young lads were very interested in me as I walked past them, it must be very boring in a field just eating, they were cautious but friendly. They are destined for the supermarket and although they look healthy enough and I'm very glad to have our own respected, cared for organic farm meat.
