Peas in a pod

Lizzie's potager produced a bountiful crop of peas and broad beans today. As you can see my Mum was set to work extricating the little beauties while L's mum set to work demolishing the freshly-picked cherries! The greenies tasted great with a lush roast chicken and we were joined after lunch by 4 friends on a 2 hour cherry picking adventure and snaffled another 8 kilos or so. Our share of the spoils produced half a dozen jars of jam. Yum yum.
