Surprise, Surprise

This morning we gave Amy an early birthday present. She wasn't expecting it, but she has worked do hard for her SAT's that we felt the timing appropriate.

The gift... her own phone! We had always said she would have a phone for when she went to secondary school but peer pressure has prevailed to mean she has got it a bit earlier. Unbelievably she is one of four in her class without a phone, and believe me, this has caused a lot of upset! We have held out and decided that if it was going to be an early present, then it needed to be given as a reward for something. Hence the timing now.

To say she was happy today is an understatement!!
