Little Gidding Church, exterior

'If you came this way,
Taking the route you would be likely to take
From the place you would be likely to come from,
If you came this way in may time, you would find the hedges
White again, in May, with voluptuary sweetness.'

T S Eliot, Little Gidding

The route I took to come here today was from Winchester, via London, then on a train from London to Peterborough, bus from Peterborough to Sawtry and finally a taxi from Sawtry to Little Gidding - for a Study Day tomorrow on T S Eliot's poem of the same name. And the hedges are bursting with cow parsley.
