Survivor

This is a Douglas fir, probably four years old. It was a gift from the Herff Jones folks (Herff Jones is the company we used to publish our yearbooks at McMinnville High School). We put this poor little tree in a pot for three years before we dug it into the farm soil last year. The new growth says it survived the winter. Grow on.
