Nesting season

All round it is the season if love - as far as the birds are concerned!
Have been watching the building if nests going on and think we have win the battle with the gulls thanks to our helium ballon which has been blowing in the wind!
The blackie was seen gathering her materials for the nest in the ivy hedge and today I this egg shell on the grass in the garden. I also saw a gull egg which must have fallen out of a nest near the church.
