Old apple trees

The apple trees are just coming out up north. The growth of lichen on the old boughs is truly fantastic.

We are on our way back down to the south where the temperatures look to be positively tropical. However, our reluctance is well and truly dampened by the local weather forecast. We'll just have to come back soon.
