The Champs

After yesterdays blip, I still dont do football but since we'd stayed in Perth last night we had to go down and see the victory parade through town. Its taken 130 years to win this trophy so it may take a while before the next big parade!
There was a great atmosphere with hundreds, probably thousands of people wearing footie shirts and blue May 17th t shirts and waving flags. Cheering and clapping when the bus went past it was a great experience. We did wonder how all the flags are done, were there hundreds of them printed overnight with St Johnstone 2014 cup winners on them or was there a very nervous flag seller watching the game yesterday? Must check ebay for lots of very cheap and inaccurate Dundee United flags ;)

All in all a great experience and something Im sure will be remembered in Perth for a long time.
