Free fertiliser

When I was very young, I can just remember a rag and bone man coming round. If his horse was kind enough to leave a deposit on the street the keen gardeners, well probably just our dad really, would rush out with a shovel and bucket. So dad will be proud of the barrow full I collected from the car park near my allotment today. I'm not sure what the horsey people were doing but I doubt it was a Peebles rag and bone man/woman reunion.
