Summer's here!

D having fun in the garden. He's bursting with energy these days - going from full time at nursery to 3 days a week at home with Mummy and a new baby means that he's not burning as much off and taking him along with us to the medical appointments that come with a new baby has been challenging for all of us (he does not sit and read or play with his toys, instead he wants to explore all the gadgets at the health centre and objects when I stop him!)

Leaving the house with a small baby and an unruly toddler is slightly daunting - I'm worried that I can't sprint after the toddler without either abandoning Z or putting her through a rollercoaster buggy ride. I haven't yet lost D but we've had a few public meltdowns... I have to keep on telling myself that it's early days, that we will all get used to the new routine and it will get better!
