The Sunbeam

No, not the name of the model who kindly posed next to this vintage British motorcycle. I don't know anything about such things, but a quick search tells me that it was built in Wolverhampton some time between 1912 and 1943. BSA took over the factory in 1943 and these initials would have appeared on the marque from that time.

Lovely afternoon to be out on the bikes ended up at Haigh Hall where this vintage fair was in full swing. Didn't bother going inside, but this motorbike and a few old cars to be seen. All this and a shandy at the pub on the way home - keep summer coming : )
