The Outside Privy.

In St Andrews (The Home of Golf) yesterday so this is a back blip. We came across the Preservation Trust Museum, this is set up in a house that dates back to 1600's. In this house there were four rooms each room contained a family of up to eight or nine people. This wee gem was out in the back garden and it was called the "double seater" for all the families in the house. I think you would get to know your neighbours very well !! This is believed to be one of the last remaining examples of its type in St Andrews. If your ever in the area please drop in and have a look around the property its at 12 North Street.
