Mountains again

Today we hiked on the Lycian Way round the foot of Baba Dag back to the hotel, with fantastic views both of the mountain massif (shown) and of Olu Deniz and the Blue Lagoon. We met friendly goats, a large tortoise, and a man working to create an olive grove, who offered us a job. The wild flowers and herbs were wonderful, and we perched on the hillside for lunch - sandwiches we'd made in Gul Pansion at the starting point. And all the time the para gliders soared above us - and made me glad to be back with rocks underfoot.
