it's a hot one

I hear it's gorgeous back at home too! Yay!

The girls are with dad today and they called over before lunch for a flying visit. I love it when they're here :)

Roast chicken and chips for Sunday lunch. Not a green vegetable in sight! Plus, we had the first of my preserved lemons I made four weeks ago. Just a tiny sliver with a mouthful of chicken - so good!

Did a bit of weeding and watering in the garden before lunch. Once you start, you could go on for hours...
