Protecting the Ponies

I met this pretty Iranian girl on the summit of Traprain Law. She was one of group of volunteers removing Ragwort from the Law. Apparently it is poisonous to the 13 Exmoor ponies whose home has been on the Law since 2012.
When not helping ponies she is a Phd student at University.

I was able to advise her I was in her town in Iran in 1969. This was before her mother was born! Gosh, I was speechless.
