My Cinderella Complex

Actually, I don't have anything remotely like a Cinderella complex, but what we do have is a great crop of pumpkins. Haven't grown them before, so I wasn't sure what we were going to see cutting into the first pumpkin. The first half has been made into a pumpkin soup for Alex to take back to Newcastle along with a vat of casserole to tide them through the exam period.

Out to Vesta tonight which was brill. Sitting down now to a wee slice of lemon cake, because we can.

Alex is going back tomorrow. It's so lovely when they come home.
