Almost hidden

We spotted this on the walk this am .. very small and almost blending into the pavement. We thought the little 'chap' was still alive but stressed .... an hour later on our return it was still there unmoved . It's not a colouring I recognise but Im sure a lepidopterist would be familiar with it
