Morecambe Bay
I spent the afternoon heading up North in preparation for the start of a week in the Lake District. Making use of hotel points, I ended up staying in Lancaster overnight. It's one of those places I've only ever sped past on the M6 until now.
I took an evening trip out to Morecambe Bay to see the sights - which turned out to consist of the usual British sea-side resort a little down on its luck. Lots of arcades, bingo halls and Fawlty Towers looking hotels. It does have a statue to Eric Morecambe which is rather fun.
This was taken out on one of the promenteries with the tide out. I liked the channels in the mud, offset by the boat and marker.
