Sunset Zabriskie Point, Death Valley, USA

I have never seen a landscape come to life quite so dramatically at sunset as it did here at Zabriskie Point, Death Valley this evening. It was a sight to behold. The colours were, in modern parlance, awesome!!

How is it, anywhere called Death Valley could be so interesting and spectacular? However, I’m disappointed not to have seen any cows’ skulls lying around as in the Westerns I used to watch as a child☺ This place is a photographer’s dream, if you can stand the heat.

In the morning we leave here for Las Vegas, I am holding my breath!!!
