Thirst quencher

I filled a pie plate with fresh water and placed it at the Bird Bistro, hoping to watch the birds splashing around like kids in a wading pool. Instead of sparrows, woodpeckers, or hummingbirds, look who was the first guest to take a drink. I'm still hoping the birds will catch on, so I can get some blips of them playing in the water. Hope springs eternal, so they say!

P.S. I don't bake pies, so don't worry about the pie plate showing up in my kitchen again. It's now a dedicated addition to the "bistro."
