Head Over Heels!

... and upside down with joy! This squirrel is a new mama. I can't even believe I got shots of her belly and could well see that she is nursing at least four babies. I thought she was cut or injured but realized when I zoomed in, that she must have recently given birth. She was up in the tree branches and looked like she was chewing on leaves. I hope I get to see them when they start to explore with mama.

Today was lovely after the morning rains passed over us.
