The 79 year old magazine

I bought these copies of National Geographic from the thirties to fifties with the intention of cutting the adverts and photos out for a decoupage idea I had, but it feels wrong to destroy them now I have read them. They're not valuable or rare, but the bibliophile in me baulks at destroying a magazine from 1935.

Instead, I plan to scan and print the images where possible - less environmentally sound I am sure, but it leaves the magazines intact.
