War games

We saw this aircraft carrier in the midst of 4 or 5 destroyers on our way home today.

This is not British. We don't have anything this big. In fact we don't really have anything at all thanks to cutbacks. So I guess this is American. It's a big flat top, double runways. Impressive piece of kit - a miniature city floating round the globe. Was it Roosevelt who said "speak softly, and carry a big stick"?

This is one big big stick.

There is a big exercise going on at the moment.. practice for the future?
