Foam

I have long been fascinated by these tiny foam bubbles that form in the rivers and burns around here. The rivers run from the peat moors inland which turns the water inky black and presumably this also causes these bubbles to form. Occasionally they foam into drifts looking like some horrendous pollution but I gather it's all perfectly natural. I've tried to photograph them in the past with mixed results. I'm not sure this has worked terribly well but I it stood out in todays collection of blip able offerings.
