Lyme Bay

Today, we went diving from Portland - this is the wake from the dive boat on the way out to the M2 submarine in Lyme Bay. Above the water was beautiful and very calm. Below the water, it was quite green with the plankton bloom but the M2 was stunning. We saw a number of conger eels - one scared us rather as it was hiding behind a crab. There were also a number of edible crabs etc etc. We had a strange second dive which was a fast drift.
We finished the day with a glass of wine at the Harbour Lights and a couple of beers at the Cove pub overlooking chesil beach.
