First Nikes

Katie decided she would have a go at some level 3 stories today. It was nice seeing her challenged a little. She is loving her reading. She reads a couple of books in the morning, a couple at bedtime. She BEAMS every time she finishes a page with no help, stumbles or self correcting.

She was then very excited to get to ballet. She said "I danced good today". I had to take something to the teacher for the principal today and saw a wee bit of the class. She did look so adorable.

After ballet we went on a hunt for summer's shoes. We failed on the whole. However, a massive succeed was finding her very first running shoes, an adorable pair of Nikes, a teeny 8.5. They are fab. As soon as we got home, she put them on and ran laps of the garden "to practice". She's already decided she's running to swimming tomorrow, not cycling
