Reading

We had this book out of the library a few months back and Matthew liked it, so when I spotted it on Friday I grabbed it again. I think we read it 4 times before we even left the library! He handed it to daddy straight after tea, and insisted we read it several times at bedtime too. I think we can conclude he still likes it! (Trains and animals - a good combination).

Today has also involved lots of sunshine, some gardening, and levelling off the busted plaster at the top of the stairs enough to stick the wall cups back up and put the top stair gate back on. It's already moved by about 1/3 of the diameter of the stickers though, so I suspect we may have to admit defeat and screw them rather than sticking.
