Healthy wind-speeds up north; less so down south.

I see the wind is blowing away some of the hype surrounding that anti-windpower party, UKIP proving that Nigel Farage's rhetoric is empty and his party no different to other political parties in that respect.

Bravo Zulu, to those rich landowners in that party who've embraced wind power when it can generate extra income for themselves, though that doesn't preclude them from toeing the party line denying anthropogenic global warming and therefore the need for wind turbines at all. Charges of political hypocrisy and shedding of principles count for little when there's money to be made...

And BBC Points West reports UKIP's PPC for the Forest of Dean, Tim Congdon, has stood down, admitting "hypocrisy" regarding wind farm developments associated with his land.
