Hedwig's theme...

Today Pippa's school had the annual school party. All classes performed a song or play, but students were also encouraged to show their musical skill during an open stage session. We were totally amazed that Pippa wanted to perform there. Although she has been playing the piano for a few years now, she has never wanted to perform in front of an audience (except close family and friends). She wanted to the play Hedwig's theme from Harry Potter.

Unfortunately just after this photo was taken, she made a mistake and was absolutely distraught and in tears gave up and didn't finish the song... Of course she felt like wanting to disappear to somewhere where no one could she her. However, after talking to her for a while she did go back on stage with her class to sing a last song together. That has made me most proud - well done my brave girl!
