Out With The Bitches!

Travelling back from Nottingham last night I had a text asking for us to pick up my son and girlfriends pup as their friend couldn't cope any longer.

At 11am today, we collected the pup, Honey, and she was re-united with their other dog, Bambi, whom we already had. A good long walk was needed to burn off the excitement of the dogs seeing each other after nearly a week apart.

We decided on a walk starting at Goodrich Castle, Herefordshire, which walks for a few miles alongside The River Wye before climbing back up to the castle. I reckon the dogs covered about 15 miles.

A really hot day of about 24 c - so hopefully the dogs will sleep well tonight whilst I chill out with some beers and a John Daniels and ice.

Another long walk tomorrow should tire them out and make it easier to cope.
