Dog in the daisies

A much better day today, quite relaxing. B went to work with his dad, and H left early for her football team's trip to Drayton Manor park. By 10.30am there were 2 loads of washing on the line, dishwasher was emptied, kitchen tidied, and I'd had a lovely walk at the park with Eddie. He's a little bit dark in this, but I like the sunlight on his tail and the daisies, it just sums up the morning. I met a friend in town for coffee at lunch time, which turned to several hours catching up, bumping into friends, a visit to a vintage fair, homemade orange cake eaten sitting on a bench in the church gardens, and 3 books for a £1 from the charity shop, feeling much happier now.
