Maw, Paw and the Weans!

I had to travel to Rouken Glen Park this morning to find the swan family ..... no cygnets yet at the James Hamilton Heritage Park. I met a very chatty lady while I was taking my photos. After counting the cygnets to check that all 7 were still alive and well, the lady said that their well being was due to the vigilance and protection of the dad. On Thursday she saw the cob attack and kill a black-headed gull who had been menacing the cygnets - glad I didn't witness that!
